Line Removal

Line removal services in Queensland

While Spraywayz Line Marking primarily works to add lines to roads, there are instances where we are line removal is required to remove existing lines.

This is generally done in order to make way for new lines that have worn out, or to allow for a redesign. We are equipped to handle any removal job, large or small, using our state-of-the-art equipment.

We use 2 types of methods for line removal. A scrabbler-type grinder that works well on a wide range of painted surfaces and Abrasive Blasting. While we are able to handle just about any job, there are several things we keep in mind when determining a quote. These include how many lines or markings need to be removed, whether they have to be removed entirely or partially, how much space for our equipment is available, and what time of day the work can be performed.

Our work

We use both grinding and abrasive blasting methods to remove lines, as they are the most effective methods that work on a wide range of surfaces.

The grinding method involves using a grinder which spins at high speeds to cut away the outer layer of paint from the surface.

Abrasive blasting, also know as Hydro-Blasting, is a highly pressurised stream of water to remove old paint without damaging the original surface.
